Health (the Minister), the Secretary of the Department of Health (the department) and the public (the stakeholders).

The Board of Directors oversees the performance of Heathcote Health and ensure that it is meeting the policy and
performance objectives of the Minister. The board is held ultimately responsible for all aspects of the health services activities. Directors are appointed for a one to three year term by the Governor in Council, upon the recommendation of the Minister for Health.

  • having ultimate accountability for the delivery of safe and quality care
  • succession planning, performance management and, if required, the removal of the CEO
  • overall oversight of the performance and delivery of key policy priorities
  • ensuring the ongoing financial viability of the organisation.

Who we’re looking for

Safe and high quality healthcare for all Victorians is a priority of the Victorian Government. A key priority of the Victorian Government to facilitate this is collaboration, through the recently established Health Service Partnerships (https://www2.health.vic.gov.au/health-service-partnership)

Applicants must be able to:

  • demonstrate and provide evidence in support of nominated skills; and
  • have a demonstrated history of achievement through collaboration and partnering.

In the questionnaire, you will have the opportunity to address the key selection criteria and outline your relevant
qualifications and experience. Applicants must upload a current curriculum vitae with their application.
